The fire is classified as Out of Control.
The new fire size is indicative of several days of wildfire growth due to the ability to accurately map once smoke visibility allowed.
Evacuation Order is in effect.

The Osoyoos Indian Band has issued an Evacuation Order rescind for Area 27 south, including Nk'Mip Road to Spirit Ridge on August 3, 2021.
