Nancy Greene Raine Endorses Helena Konanz as MP for South Okanagan West Kootenay Communities
Penticton, BC – Olympic Gold medalist for alpine skiing and former Senator Nancy Greene Raine has endorsed Helena Konanz, Conservative candidate for South Okanagan West Kootenay.
“I care very much about our country, and I can tell you that Helena cares too,” said Nancy Greene Raine. “Like me, she has been an athlete, a businesswoman and in public service. She has the energy and dedication to serve the people in the South Okanagan West Kootenay.”

Nancy Greene Raine grew up and trained in Rossland and was voted Canada's Female Athlete of the 20th Century by the Canadian Press as well as named Olympic ambassador for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Nancy has received many honours including the Order of Canada and the naming of Nancy Greene Provincial Park and Nancy Greene Lake.
